Monae' Nichols, a senior at Texas Tech, finished fourth in the women's long jump final with a first-round leap of 21-5.50 (6.54m) at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Nichols, the No. 3 all-time collegiate outdoor competitor, achieved her first All-America first-team recognition outdoors and third overall for her career.
