Texas Tech fifth-year athlete Zach Bradford cleared a lifetime-best 19-4.75 (5.91m) to place second at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico. Bradford equaled the No. 5 all-time collegiate indoor competitor and matched the No. 8 performer in American indoor history.
